All Star Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new air conditioner in my home and I was very pleased with their price and service. Install was only a few hours and they cleaned the entire area when complete. The best thing was my electric bill. My new bill was only about 1/3 of what it had previously been. Glenn was truly a godsend today! He arrived quickly and diagnosed why our entire AC system had shut down—on one of the hottest days, no less! Called All Star today because our air conditioning unit was clunking and stop putting out cold air. I don't know anything about air conditioning repair but my cool air is on and that's what makes me happy. The reason for my review is because when I called they were very courteous over the phone and were on-time. The serviceman was respectful, clean and organized which I like to see in a company. I will use them again in the future for sure!
All Star maintained my aging AC unit for 4 years until it broke down, then replaced with a new system. They're an honest, hard-working local company. The repair charges always seemed reasonable. In other words, never felt they added extra items to bring up the bill. They responded quickly. Repairs were made within 24 hours. When I needed a new system All Star they were extremely helpful with information, and diligent in efforts to find a system to meet my house and budget needs. Finally, they pulled out all the stops to install the new system with one day's notice, as I had to leave town for emergency family care.
I can't say enough about All Star's integrity, work ethic, knowledge and skill.
We just replaced the whole shebang (inside and outside units and furnaces). Lonnie and his crew were total professionals and got the job done for $7,000 less than what other folks quoted. We were totally impressed with the level of service we got and feel so fortunate we found them after having 3 other companies out for quotes and speaking to several others on the phone.
Best Air Conditioning Contractors in all of San Antonio! We called All Star out on one of the hottest days in summer when our A/C wasn't working. We thought for sure we were calling for an air conditioning installation of a new unit but Lonny came out and did an expert air conditioning repair which saved us a lot of money! Other companies would have given us a hard sell and tried to turn our predicament into a new air conditioning sales deal but All Star were honest, helpful and informative. Thanks guys, when the time does come for a new AC unit, we will call you for sure!
Unfortunately in the last week, I have had issues with my upstairs unit and then 5 days later my downstairs unit. I had used other Boerne based AC companies in the past but have found their wait times to be unbearable. Luckily, this time I found All Star. Gerald came out on the first trip within a few hours of the call and got our upstairs unit back up and working almost before the sun came up in the morning. Then today (a Sunday) the capacitor blew in the downstairs unit and he was here and the unit was blowing cold air probably within an hour of my call into them. I now have his cell number programmed into my phone and will be using All Star from this point forward.
I have used this company for about 3 years now and they have always promptly assisted me - good thing they are available 24/7 because it seems I always need assistance with my air conditioner at night. I replaced my a/c unit with them and so glad I did. They provide quality workmanship and courteous service. The techs are professional, very friendly and explain everything clearly. We have several rentals and can count on All Star to show up promptly and send pictures of the problem and before and after photos!
